Aanshi Paudel

Aanshi Paudel is an Assistant Analyst at the PWBM, where she contributes to the development and maintenance of microsimulation models used to analyze the economic and distributional effects of public policy. Her work includes managing and expanding model input data repositories, developing empirical models that are integrated into simulation frameworks, and conducting policy analysis.

Aanshi earned a Master of Arts in Economic Development from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kathmandu College of Management, Nepal. Prior to joining PWBM, she worked at Nepalโ€™s National Statistics Office, where she contributed to the Fourth Nepal Living Standards Survey. She also worked on a project examining the digital ecosystem for women entrepreneurs in Nepal, focusing on barriers and opportunities for inclusive economic participation.

Her research interests include labor economics, public finance and poverty and inequality.
