The University of Michigan's 67th Annual Economic Outlook Conference

The University of Michigan’s 67th Annual Economic Outlook Conference took place in Ann Arbor on November 21-22, 2019.

Each year, on the Thursday and Friday prior to Thanksgiving, RSQE, a modeling and forecasting unit at the University of Michigan, hosts the University of Michigan’s Economic Outlook Conference. It is the longest-running event of its kind in the United States. Attendees at the Conference are typically upper level business and government economists and analysts from all over the country with the Midwest having significant representation. Academics from the University of Michigan and nearby regions also attend. The conference has relevance for all sectors.

PWBM’s Faculty Director, Kent Smetters, presented “The Outlook and Options for the Federal Budget” in Session IV on Friday, November 22nd, 11:30am-12;30pm.
